April 8, 2024: Update: Things are moving along on schedule. In the next month, we should see more windows put in, as well as the walls beginning to be painted. Possibly flooring too! The K/1 room is in the process of having a bathroom added to it as well.

March 22, 2024: Update: We are beginning to see windows going in and walls being boarded. The gym wall for the new stage has been opened up, and progress is being made. 

Feb 28, 2024: Update: On Wednesday March 6, the fire alarm company will be testing the alarm system on both sides of the building beginning at 10am and continue throughout the day.

Feb 5, 2024 Update: Another round of Demolition has been completed. Framing of the new stage, and mechanical/maintenance structures are being completed.

Dec 11, 2023 Update: This week excavation of the crawlspaces will begin!

Nov 17, 2023 Update: Beginning next week (Monday November 20, 2023) we will begin to see excavating of the outside as they prepare for the new areas of the school. (The stage and new main entrance)

Nov 6, 2023 Update: Fencing has finished being put up, temporary walls inside the school are up. We will begin to see lots of activity as the Construction Team Quorex begins to get the outside renovations underway. Jackhammering will begin this week!
We have two students in grade 10, Jay and Bella, documenting the entire renovation project. They will have a renovation newsletter available at the Parent, Teacher, Student Conferences this Wednesday November 8th, these will also be available for pickup by the public at the front office. 

Oct 31, 2023 Update: Renovations have been started. Fencing is going up outside to block the construction zone. Temporary walls are being built in the school so that the construction zone is inaccessible to the students and staff. 

Oct 18, 2023 Update: Renovations have been confirmed to be beginning October 24th!

Oct 13, 2023 Update: Renovations have been slated to begin the week of Oct 16 - Oct 23, 2023!

Sept 5, 2023 Update: As the new school year begins, details are being finalized for our school renovation project and the plan continues to be for work to start as soon as possible. In the meantime, the staff at Kyle Composite School are excited to start the school year with our students in our temporary classroom locations.

June 30, 2023 Update: Renovations are set to begin in July. All classrooms have been moved into the front half of the school, to allow for the back half to be updated. 
All artwork and grad photos have been removed from the walls. They are being stored in a safe place, to ensure no damage happens to them. You can look for the grad photos to be on display at the Kyle 100th celebration.
