2023 - 2024 School Calendar Vote

Please feel free to vote on what YOU want the school calendar to look like starting fall 2023.

On the first page of the survey, you will find information regarding guidelines school divisions must work within when establishing a calendar. To meet the Ministry approval required, there are a number of factors that must be met including the hours of instructional time for students and limitations in regard to when some of the breaks may start and end. One example of these requirements is the mandatory first day of classes - September 5, 2023 (The Education Act, 1995 and Minister's order) for all Saskatchewan school divisions.
We appreciate the efforts of the calendar committee which included teachers, principals, school administrative assistants, educational assistants, students, SCC, SWTA and CUPE representation, board trustees and division level personnel.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to vote on calendar options. The collaboration of the committee and the feedback from staff, students, parents, trustees and all stakeholders are greatly appreciated.
